Robert J. Sawicki, CPA - President

I am a 1993 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. I graduated with two degrees and three majors - Bachelor of Business Administration with majors in Finance and Accounting, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in Spanish.

I spent the first years of my career preparing to be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) by passing the CPA examination and acquiring my three years of required experience. I met my experience requirements with two years of auditing for the State of Wisconsin, and two years working at a public accounting firm as a Senior Accountant where I had audit and tax preparation responsibilities. I became a Certified Public Accountant in 1998.

Upon leaving public accounting, I started a small accounting business where I worked with individuals and small businesses while maintaining a full-time accounting position at TDS Telecom. During this period, I spent an extraordinary amount of time assisting with business plans, preparing income taxes for individuals and small businesses, and performing tax planning for my clients.

In November of 1999, I became affiliated with Harbour Investments, Inc. Shortly thereafter I acquired my securities licenses - Series 7, Series 63, Series 66 (securities licenses and registrations are through Harbour Investments, Inc. in Madison), as well as the State of Wisconsin Life and Health Insurance licenses. Through this affiliation I have been working extensively with businesses and individuals on retirement, investment, tax and insurance planning.

Since 1999, I incorporated my business, now known as Innovative Financial, Inc., which is a full-service financial planning firm that provides a wide range of financial services and products.
